Week One Down!

Week One is Down!

Before starting this, I didn't know what to expect about how I would feel. Would I have headaches, would I have cravings, etc. Y'all this program is the BOMB! Let me tell you why...

Before the group started, I was given all the tools I would need to be successful. This includes products (protein powder, detox tea, fizz sticks, fiber boost, etc), meal plans, a support group, and nutritional information about why the program works and why you should cut certain foods out and incorporate new ones in. This has been huge for me! Not only am I eating correctly, but now I am equipped to go forward after the 30 days are over and be able to make smart decisions on what I fuel my body with. I am a single, working mom, so I need to be able to plan things that are easy to make and easy to follow. The recipes have been great, and the ones I didn't use, I was able to incorporate my own things in. This has been the easiest plan to follow out of anything I have done before.

Usually when I cut sodas, I get intense headaches. Not this time. I was able to replace the sodas with decaffeinated hot tea, fizz sticks (think a healthier version of crystal light) and WATER! Water is so important to this! I have had more energy, felt fuller, and no headaches! No stomach aches, no sickness. I believe in this process and I believe in food absolutely fueling our bodies.

This has totally helped my budget as well! The cost is upfront for the products, but they last for 30 days! I buy my groceries for the week and I am set. I didn't find myself swiping my debit card as usual for fast food 2-3 times a day. The savings are tremendous!

I am eager to go grocery shopping today and prepare for this weeks menu! My menu this week includes:
Paleo Chili. Cauliflower Fried Rice with Chicken. Sweet Potato Cheeseburger Casserole. Chicken Cacciatore with Veggie Noodles. YUM!

Now to the most measurable part: RESULTS! Y'all I have lost 8 pounds this week! EIGHT POUNDS!! This brings me to 12 pounds down since 1/1. I went shopping yesterday and have dropped a size already. This feels great! This, along with the way I feel, is total motivation to keep going. I feel so positive and happy to have found something that will keep me in check, show me how to make the right decisions, and give me a healthy lifestyle I can follow for life.

Special shout out to Shae Glenn! She is an Independent Arbonne rep and my mentor for this group. She has helped to motivate me and keep me in check. I love having someone I can report to and share my successes with. Not only is she my mentor. she is one of my closest friends. She would more than willing to help anyone who has questions about this program!
